Located in the Southern Caribbean, with stunning cascading waterfalls and beautiful white sand beaches, you can discover Grenada or also known as the “Island of Spice”.

With a size of 344 square kilometres, tropical weather and an estimated population of 110.000, Grenada has turned lately into a top destination for businessmen and investors around the world, who are looking for tranquillity, freedom, and a new lifestyle. They can surely find this in Grenada, as this English-speaking island is home to some of the friendliest people in the Caribbean. It is well known by its visitors that the first thing you notice once you arrive in Grenada is the people’s willingness to help.

But it is not only its natural magic, its cascading waterfalls with crystal clear water, or the rainforest which makes this Island so attractive to investors from different sectors.

The Grenada CBI or Citizenship-by-Investment Program has been implemented since 2013, and it was originally designed to attract direct foreign investment to the Island, while also encouraging industry, private enterprises and innovation on this Paradise.

Investors who obtain the Grenadian Passport are immediately eligible to apply for Citizenship as there are no residency requirements. Probably one of the most valuable benefits Grenadian citizens can enjoy is the freedom to travel without visa restrictions to more than 115 international and Commonwealth countries including the United Kingdom and all other members of the European Union.

According to Grenada CBI commissioner Holikov, Individuals who obtain citizenship through Grenada’s Citizenship-by-Investment Program have the right to live and work in Grenada, and they can also live in any other CARICOM (Caribbean Community) member state. It is also important to highlight that Grenadian Citizenship may be extended to family members, such as the spouse, dependent children and dependent parents.

Grenada does not have foreign income, gift, wealth, inheritance or capital gains tax. There is no restriction on repatriation of profits and imported capital. Some other benefits include generous incentive packages including corporate tax incentives, export allowance, full exemption from import duties and tax relief benefits

There are two options for investors to join Grenada “CBI” Program. The first option is a cash donation to the National Transformation Fund (NTF), or you can also invest in Real State through one of the Government-approved Real Estate asset classes: Freehold property with title deed, hotel shares or fractional ownership. It is important to mention that the investment is subject to a minimum holding period of four (4) years, further added by Grenada CBI commissioner Holikov.

Certainly, Grenada’s Citizenship-by-Investment Program will continue to contribute to the growth of the island’s economy, while providing a high quality of life to its investors and its new citizens from all over the world.
