The update follows recent visa exemption agreements with major countries, including **China** and **Russia**, boosting the number of visa-free destinations for Omani passport holders from **86 to 88**.

- A mutual visa exemption agreement with Russia came into effect on July 18, 2025, allowing short-term visits without a visa.

These agreements significantly enhance global mobility for Omani citizens and reflect growing diplomatic ties with key global economies.
