The British Commonwealth island of St. Kitts & Nevis runs a Citizenship by Investment program that offers investors second citizenship and passport. One of the many benefits of holding St. Kitts & Nevis passport is that it still recognizes dual citizenship, meaning when applying to their Citizenship by Investment program, investors will never be asked to renounce their nationality of origin.
St. Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment program is the oldest investment program in the world. Launched in 1984, St. Kitts & Nevis created this program to strengthen its relationships with the rest of the world and to drive economic growth further while cementing the country as a formidable place for investment.

Today, the St. Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment program is considered affordable second citizenship and passport option as many investors, in recent years, have now realized the value in investing in alternative investment programs that fall outside of Europe.
They can do this in two ways:
This investment option requires investors to invest in the government’s Sustainable Growth Fund – a fund that was created in 2018 – through a non-refundable contribution. Single applicants are required to pay $150,000 to the SGF, and a family of four are required to pay $195,000. Additional dependents cost $25,000.
Due to the knock-on effect that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the St. Kitts & Nevis economy, the government has reduced its investment requirements for a family of 4. Active now, and only valid until January 15th 2021, the family contribution has gone down by $45,000 to $150,000 through the Sustainable Growth Fund.
This investment option requires investing in designated, government-approved real estate property that holds a minimum investment value of $400,000 (resalable after 5 years only) or minimum investment value of $200,000 (resalable after 7 years only).
There are still additional government and due diligence fees that need to be paid on top of both these options*
Investors get to experience several benefits when investing in St. Kitts & Nevis citizenship and passport, namely:
St. Kitts & Nevis offers investors and their families permanent citizenship and passport that lasts a lifetime.
While the time to citizenship can take between 4-6months, there is also an option of an accelerated application process of 90 days.
