The Government of Grenada and the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis have announced the introduction of a new visa waiver agreement with the Russian Federation. After talks held by Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, his Excellency Sergey Lavrov, Foreign Minister of Grenada, Honourable Elvin Nimrod, and Foreign Minister of St. Kitts & Nevis the Honourable Mark Brantley, during the 72nd United Nations General Assembly.
The new plus brings Grenada and St. Kitts & Nevis passport holders the opportunity to gain access to a market of more than 144 million citizens, as the agreement allows nationals from these countries to travel for business or tourist purposes and stay for up to 90 days in Russia.
As of January 1st, 2017, St. Kitts & Nevis citizens had visa-free access in more than 136 countries, including the United Kingdom, all European Union countries, the Caribbean and Commonwealth Nations.
On the other side, the reopening of the Grenada Embassy in Moscow and this new visa waiver agreement announced by both Ministers of Foreign Affairs, are a testament to the deepening of the Grenada-Russia relations.
Grenada passport holders enjoy visa-free and visa-on-arrival travel to more than 137 countries, including the United Kingdom, all European Union countries, Ireland, Caribbean and British Commonwealth Nations, as well as the opportunity to obtain the USA E-2 Investor Visa.
