Abu Dhabi's latest Golden Quay program introduces long-term residency options for superyacht owners. This initiative enhances the UAE Golden Visa framework, targeting leaders in the maritime sector and luxury yacht owners.
In collaboration with DCT Abu Dhabi, ADIO, and Yas Marina, the program requires a minimum vessel size of 40 meters for eligibility. Beyond yacht owners, it includes executives in yacht-building companies, maritime service providers, and central yacht agents.
Following the UAE's prominent participation in the Monaco Yacht Show, ADIO Executive Director Hareb Al Mheiri highlighted the program as a key element in Abu Dhabi’s ambition to establish a strong global presence in the maritime sector.
The Golden Quay initiative aims to reshape Abu Dhabi’s luxury tourism landscape. By drawing superyacht owners and industry leaders, the program is expected to boost high-end tourism and its associated sectors, including premium retail and luxury hospitality services.
To further enhance the appeal of the program, DCT Abu Dhabi offers recipients a welcoming package that includes:
Personalized tourism experiences and tailored support services for visa holders add an extra layer of appeal.
The Golden Quay program complements Abu Dhabi's existing Golden Visa categories for investors, entrepreneurs, and specialized professionals. Yas Marina and ADIO will jointly manage applications, aligning with the goals of Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030 to develop the maritime sector and luxury tourism.
