Dubai has introduced a unified system designed to streamline how residency applications are handled across multiple categories.
As announced by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in coordination with the Dubai Land Department, the update brings several residency pathways under a single processing framework.
Golden Visa, property residency, and retiree residency applications will now be handled through one unified channel.
Previously, these pathways were processed through separate systems, often requiring applicants to navigate multiple entities and procedures.
By consolidating the process, authorities aim to reduce duplication, shorten timelines, and create a more seamless application experience.
Importantly, this update does not introduce any changes to eligibility thresholds or investment criteria.
Instead, it focuses purely on how applications are processed.
The move reflects a broader effort by Dubai to improve accessibility and efficiency for investors, property owners, and long-term residents, while maintaining the existing framework of its residency programs.
