The latest figures from Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program, now operating under the Investment Migration Agency (IMA Grenada), show a sharp rise in approvals from U.S. nationals during the second quarter of 2025.
According to IMA data, 12% of the 402 individuals approved for Grenadian citizenship between April and June were from the United States, up from just 1% of 632 approvals in the first quarter.
Other approved nationalities in the same period included applicants from Pakistan, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Kuwait, Lebanon, the Republic of Congo, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Syria, Türkiye, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Haiti.
By the end of June 2025, Grenada had approved 893 new citizens, generating EC$103.2 million in revenue, according to the Ministry of Finance’s fiscal report.
IMA Grenada plans to deepen its engagement across Africa following strong interest from Nigerian investors and rising inquiries from other regions.
The agency will launch a West Africa promotional tour in October 2025, building on earlier outreach in Kenya with the Nairobi Chamber of Commerce, which drew more than 100 participants.
Grenada’s program continues to appeal to global investors through its E-2 visa treaty with the United States, visa-free access to China, and reputation as one of the Caribbean’s most transparent and well-regulated investment migration programs.
