Kazakhstan has officially launched a 10-year investor visa program, opening the door to long-term residency for individuals who contribute at least $300,000 to the country’s economy.
This new visa option, initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is for foreign nationals who invest either in the charter capital of Kazakh companies or in domestic securities. Eligible applicants will be able to apply online for the investor visa, which provides long-term residency rights and legal protections for up to a decade.
The program is part of a broader government strategy to attract sustainable foreign investment and create a stable legal environment for international business ventures. It targets high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors seeking a reliable base for their operations in Central Asia.
By tying long-term residency to active financial investment, Kazakhstan’s new policy directs capital toward the local economy's productive sectors. Key outcomes expected from the investor visa:
This approach reflects Kazakhstan’s goal to become a reliable destination for international investors who want to invest beyond short-term profits and build a long-term presence in the region.
