American Airlines has announced the return of its nonstop service between New York (JFK) and Saint Lucia, resuming weekly Saturday flights starting December 20, 2025, just in time for the winter travel season.
The route, a longtime favorite for travelers from the U.S. Northeast, will operate through winter 2026, offering a direct connection to the island’s peak tourist period, when Saint Lucia’s beaches, rainforests, and luxury resorts see their highest demand.
This seasonal service complements American Airlines’ year-round Miami–Saint Lucia route, boosting the island’s air connectivity during its busiest months.
Tourism officials said the reinstated JFK flights reflect the airline’s continued confidence in the Caribbean market and rising U.S. travel demand for tropical destinations.
The weekly service provides a convenient option for both vacationers and returning Saint Lucians seeking a direct link between New York and the island throughout the winter season.
