Slovenia will launch its first digital nomad visa on November 21, 2025, allowing eligible non-EU and non-EEA remote workers to live in the country for up to one year.
To qualify, applicants must work for an employer or clients based outside Slovenia. The visa will not be renewable, and after it expires, the applicant must leave the country for at least six months before applying again.
Applicants will need to prove they meet a yet-to-be-announced minimum income requirement. Supporting documents can include bank statements, contracts, or pay slips.
Family members can be included in the application, but they are not allowed to work for Slovenian employers while in the country.
More details, including the official income threshold and application process, are expected ahead of the November launch.
