The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis is preparing to pilot its National Digital ID system in January 2026, marking a major step forward in its broader digital transformation agenda.
This initiative will provide over 25,000 citizens with secure digital access to key public services, conveniently available online through mobile devices or computers.

By digitizing these processes, the system aims to eliminate the need for in-person visits and significantly reduce administrative delays, ushering in a new era of fast, transparent, and citizen-focused public service delivery.
In tandem with the e-ID rollout, the government is also developing a national government e-payments platform to further enhance digital service access.
Expected to go live by mid-2026, this platform will serve as a centralized digital gateway for tax payments, licence renewals and settlement of government fees.
The e-payments system will offer a more accessible, efficient, and streamlined way to conduct government transactions.
