Trump Launches $1 Million “Gold Card” Visa Program

U.S. President Donald Trump has officially launched the “Gold Card” immigration program, offering wealthy foreign nationals a fast-track route to U.S. residency and eventual citizenship.

The initiative provides residency in record time for individuals investing at least $1 million, which is recognized as proof of substantial benefit to the United States.

Program Overview

  • Individual applicants: Minimum investment of $1 million and a $15,000 non-refundable processing fee.
  • Corporate sponsors: U.S. companies sponsoring foreign employees must pay $2 million per worker.
  • Platinum tier: A premium option priced at $5 million, offering additional tax benefits.

Additional government fees may apply depending on each applicant’s background and application category.

The launch follows a broader overhaul of U.S. immigration policy, including higher visa fees, expanded deportation measures, and a new $100,000 charge for certain H-1B visa applicants abroad.
