The route provides convenient access to the Basque region and highlights such as the Guggenheim Museum.
From October 17, 2026, United will launch direct service from Newark (EWR) to Dominica’s Douglas–Charles Airport (DOM).
The route will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays and run seasonally from October through April, connecting travelers to one of the Caribbean’s leading eco-tourism destinations.
In summer 2026, United will resume direct flights from Newark (EWR) to Nuuk (GOH), continuing the first regularly scheduled service between the U.S. and Greenland in over a decade.
The route offers travelers access to Arctic landscapes, glaciers, local culture, and the Northern Lights, making Nuuk one of the most unique destinations in United’s network.
With these new routes, United Airlines continues to expand its international footprint, offering travelers diverse options across Europe, the Caribbean, and the Arctic.
The airline positions the expansion as part of its broader strategy to provide more direct connections to both popular and niche destinations worldwide.
