About the program

Canada’s Intra Company Transferee (ICT) program is an immigration pathway under the International Mobility Program that allows qualified foreign business owners to expand their businesses to Canada and acquire a work permit.

With the ICT program, foreign business owners can establish a Canadian subsidiary, obtain the ICT work permit and apply for their permanent residency, and immigrate to Canada along with their spouse and kids under the age of 22 years.

Program process

The expected timeframe for the application process is 6 months. The first stage of the document collection can differ in length depending on the applicant’s ability to gather the documents. Our team guides this process with samples and best practice advice.

Yes, you can include qualified members of your family in the application. A qualified family member can be a spouse or a child not older than 22 years and which is financially dependent on the main applicant.

The Government of Canada does not require you to pass any interviews, language tests to be able to apply for this program.
