About the program
To be eligible to apply for this program, you must be over 18 years old, in good health and without a criminal record.
Applicants are also required to make a company share capital investment or invest in real estate.

Program process
The expected timeframe for the application process is 6 months. The first stage of the document collection can differ in length depending on the applicant’s ability to gather the documents. Our team guides this process with samples and best practice advice.

Legal basis
Acquiring a Latvian permanent residence is set out in the immigration law and provides investors with all the rights of a Latvian resident. The residence gives applicants the right to enter and leave Latvia freely, as well as the right to travel across all European countries visa-free.
Q: Can I include my family when applying for Latvia Residency by Investment Program?
Yes, you can include qualified members of your family in the application or add them after you have obtained your residency for an additional fee. A qualified family member can be a child not older than 18 years and a spouse.
Q: Are there any interviews, language tests, or work experience requirements when applying for Latvia Residency by Investment Program?
The Government of Latvia does not require you to pass any interviews, language tests or have previous work experience to be able to apply for this program.
Q: Do I need to visit Latvia before obtaining my residency?
You are required to visit Latvia on one occasion before obtaining your residency for your biometric appointment and medical test.

Yes, the passport of Latvia is a biometric passport, also known as an ePassport.
